Dear Ginny,
Greetings and congratulations on your milestone birthday!
Even though we've been out of touch for awhile, you hold a special place in my heart as we were such good neighbors and friends for so long. 1242 will always be know as "McGee's house" to us - the two owners since you moved certainly don't upkeep the place the way you did!
As I reminisce, a lot of good memories come to mind:
- our long talks
- borrowing ingredients back & forth
- our jobs at Strawbridge's
- Lisa & Mark's wedding
- Terence's 50th birthday party
- rescuing Elizabeth whenever she locked the keys in the car
- hearing about Tracy's neat jobs in D.C.
- the green dye that the Board of Health put down our toilets because they thought that one of us must have caused a water problem at a house on Meadow Lane (ok, that last one really doesn't count as a very good memory, but I digress!)
…I would love to be updated about all of you - maybe we should make a special effort to "meet in the middle" & have a 5-hour lunch somewhere, ok?
